I’ve been shortlisted!
I was recently nominated for the ‘Best Newcomer VA’ award a little while ago and didn’t think anything would come of it as there are SO many fantastic VA’s out there – so imagine my surprise to receive this email today confirming that I have been shortlisted!
I am feeling so very lucky for my journey as a VA so far, for the incredible support network of VA’s, my VA mentors and of course, none of this would be possible without my amazing clients, and not forgetting my friends and family who believed in me and encouraged me to follow my dreams.
Being self-employed isn’t the easy option by a long stretch. It’s been a real rollercoaster of emotions, generally just getting used to the ebbs and flows of small business life. I have come to realise that a quiet period doesn’t necessarily mean you’re suddenly doing something wrong – and it’s important to realise that this quieter time is useful for getting your business admin in order and spending more time with your family!
I’m so grateful that my little business has continued to grow in the way I had hoped it would – and really looking forward to seeing what the future has in store.
I’m so excited for the VA awards conference at the end of September in Bournemouth… you can find out more about the conference here – https://vaconference.co.uk/about/
The finalists are announced in two weeks so I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed
